I'm finding these priced by private sellers anywhere from $30+ to $50 with most in the $35-40 range so I'm price is being adjusted to reflect that number.

I wouldn't want to do that since I prefer women. My intent was and is to sell whatever product at the market rate which what the free market is about and socialism hates. I just learned that the going rate for mags is generally $35-40. I found some sellers ( a minority) selling them for $50 and others in the mid $35 range.
If my mags suddenly became near obsolete and the value dropped to $5 would you cover my loss?
You happened to have joined at a rough spot in the world of guns. Those people that are just joining gun forums to be able to buy stuff and have no intention of being part of the community are probably your target audience. They're in a panic-mode of sorts and will pay whatever because they don't have much in the way of experience with these things...
Anyone that's been around a bit and been involved with an online community for a bit see things a bit different. I could probably post up here that I have some mags and am looking for the highest possible price I can, then ask my price. I might get flamed but at the end of the day I'd still be thought of the same way by the members here (shut up, Josh!)

In the last 2 days I have seen many selling at 5 for $100. There is a glut of people receiving backordered mags last week and now. Far more sellers than buyers now and in the near future for mags. All of those mags are however, empty. It would take a truck load of them dumped on a tyrant to get any blood out of them.

I haven't seen them that low (yet) though I'm not questioning that you have. It does seem that overall prices for the pmags are dropping and/or demand is falling whatever. A couple weeks back it was somewhat different. Mine are also Gen2 and some of those now being offered for @ $30 that I've seen are Gen3.
I'm going to close or remove the offer since the price/product mix is not right and unfortunately my post has offended some people at this forum. Never meant to do that. I actually learned about this site when I was searching for places to post a local classified ad for gun accessories. Craigslist axed my ad even though I was not offering guns or ammo. Go figure.

We're not a huge board.. pretty cozy. Pretty smart crowd, good guys to know..
Recently (in light of the national bullshit going on) we've had a HUGE influx of new users jumping into the for sale section and throwing up crappy guns for ridiculous prices.. hoping to find their diamond buyer.
We've also had another huge influx of new guys hitting search results and bumping 3 and 4 year old "for sale" threads asking if the guns are still available.. bla bla bla.
All this clutters up a board where we're all just trying to learn, teach, and chat about whatever.
We really love new members, but hope they join to contribute to our community and hang out with us.. not just try to hawk crap in a shitty crazy market.
