FT: ACOG Scope For EOTech

Looking for higher end EOTech scope. I have a new Trijicon ACOG for trade.

Its a Trijicon TAO1 with a Trijicon TA51 ACOG Flat Top Picatinny Mount Rail Adapter so it mounts to a rail AR15 or flat top AR.

Do you have pics of yours?

I'm not sure what the reticule looks like on a ta01, I'll have to do some searching.

Ignore the magnifier, and it's the version with the 65moa circle with one 1moa dot.

Here is a link to the scope and model. Is that a picture of your gun? What magnifier you running?

Yes that is my rifle, Colt 6940 upper and a AeroPrecision lower I built. The 3x is made by primary arms, it's cheap but works well.

Got you. How do you like the Eotech so far? Is that better than a 512? Sorry not really up to spead on the Eotechs. I was looking at the 557 model.

I like it, all eotechs are about the same imo. They just come in different sizes and use different batteries. A couple may have different reticules though, and there's the night vision compatible models.

The xps2 uses a cr123 battery mounted sideways. This version solves some problems people had with batteries losing contact from recoil and shutting the sight off during a firefight. It's also compact, unlike those AA battery ones that are huge.

Also I'm not 100% sure I want to trade. I was hoping this was one of the models with the daytime glow, it is not.

Sounds good. It has the standard day reticule and the glowing red night reticule.

I may just bite the bullet and pick up the Eotech EOLAD-1V. Thats what I think I am looking for. A few hundred more than my ACOG. Well let me know.
