It was very hard to find 22 mag ammo for the last year but it seems to be coming back some what but something has changed and its very strange! I can get the copper 30 gr v-max cheaper then the heavy lead 45 gr bullet! And if you can even find the 45gr ? I thought lead is cheaper then copper!:hmmmm2:

My final thoughts on the Winchester .22 Long Rifle Lead Free Ammunition is this. California hunters who live in the Condor Zone have no other choice of ammunition if they wish to shoot their .22 rifles. This ammunition is not perfect, but it is very difficult for rimfire ammunition manufacturers to produce a lead free alternative, with metals that are somewhat inexpensive, but have the same characteristics as lead. We saw that with shotgun ammunition when steel was first released and we will see it with rifle rounds. However, Winchester should be acknowleged as being on the cutting edge of lead free rimfire production. They haven’t hit it out of the ballpark with this particular offering, but if they continue to tweak this ammunition, they might have a winner. Otherwise, I fear that poor accuracy will equal poor sales. That will only mean the demise of this round.

You didn't write that, someone else did. You aren't capable of such well put together sentences.
