I need an AR. I don't need a "real" Colt.. don't want to spend big money.. Just an 18" barrel AR that I can add **** to as I go.

A friend of mine got an Olympic for 750.. I've seen S&W's in that same range.. What would be a good choice?

Hmm Del-ton used to have setups for a little over 500 for a dirt cheap model.. but their prices look a bit different now?

I believe my old Oly Arms post ban AR is at Columbia Gun Rack. Last price I saw on it was like $650 and they would probably be willing to negotiate.

Budsgunshop has the optics ready M&P 15 for $650 and Smith currently has a $100 rebate. Hard to beat. Smith is about the best of the companies that are basically just assembling parts rifles.

Pretty much any AR that is not Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorn or CAI and you will be just fine.

Um, get a good stripped lower & build it from the ground up.

Columbia Gun Rack has a decent selection & there prices are fair.

Ace has had M&P's for good prices in the not too far past.

I have a billet lower I could sell ya.

What do ya want to do?

If you were to find one online or out of the area, Columbia Gun Rack will do transfers for I think $20.00

West end of the Parkade. Near the Methodist Church. Same side of the street as the bronze 'paperboy'.
They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Doublestar AR-15 from buds for 669.00 is a great deal. I am on my second Doublestar and I absolutely love it and have had no problems.

Here is the first one I bought for 669.00 Does not include the red dot scope.
