I just picked one of these up yesterday, haven't put a round through it yet though. What've you got up top for optics?

It was $519 at Discount Gun Sales, this is how they come out of the box.. M&P15-22P Pistol

I painted the M&P15-22 logo and the "Safe" white, "Fire" red along with swapping the safety for a southpaw and a reticle sight .

Thanx, already done... I had a feeling one of the two was a bad combo

Short Barreled Rifes are NOT a Federal violation. Unregistered (didn't fill out the paperwork or pay the tax) SBR is a Federal violation. There is a BIG difference between the two.

WA law does not allow for SBR either.

To a point yes. But the way I read what you wrote it sounds like ALL SBR is illegal which is not true. I was just clarifying for those that read it that way.

I paid $414 at Buds + $25 to my local FFL. I agree with Pink- how can you not, when everything is interchangable with the rifle?

Just got back from the UK and found all my goodies waiting for me. Threw on the cheapo Red / Green dot, the tapco foregrip, and the primary arms green laser this morning and this is what she's looking like now.

Question: The laser comes with a pressure pad for activation, how do you guys typically attach this to the foregrip? Tape or velcro or something?

Check the box, you should find a little piece of self adhesive velcro, that's what showed up with my lights/lasers in the past

I find that the assorted color zip ties from the dollar store are the best thing to use for this purpose.

I have the same scope on my AR-15. I like it as it's calibrated for 55 grain .223 with a drop compensator out to 500 yards. Holds zero pretty well.
