I personally wouldn't want any record of me asking how to convert a weapon to automatic on a public forum. It could result in your name being added to the Gestapo's list of homes to visit!

first part is easy if you have an understanding of mechanics. Not gonna explain anything though since it would be a bad bad bad thing, easy enough to do that if the SHTF that there really is no point in doing it before hand. Learn to bump fire and be happy with that for now :-)

As for the second question the first thing you would need to do would be to apply for a tax stamp for a short barreled rifle. Once you were given that then you could do it yourself or take it to a gunsmith and they could do it for you. Standard thread pitch for AK muzzle breaks is 14-1 left hand.

Washington State does not allow SBR's so there is no point in applying for a tax stamp.
