Why after so long is EVERY manufacturer getting into the AR game? I mean come on, AR's aren't really a "modern" firearm any more.

I'm not complaining, they look like nice guns!

Considering the number of Dealers that have Mossberg available to them it makes sense for both. The Factory has a ready made distribution channel and the Dealers now have a firearm that they can make a reasonable markup on (assuming that customers will pay anywhere close to MSRP for a Moss'y).

It's a case of selling what people are buying. AR's are more popular than some might think.

I can't see what they could bring to the table technology or ergonomics wise, but more power to them! The price point is going to be key.

I collect very old Mossbergs. I am very disappointed where the company has gone lately..

why, WHY?!

When money is involved you ask WHY? :motz:

Isn't the answer obvious?

I guess as long as people keep buying they'll keep making them with more and more companies competing for the market share.

Heck, I have three complete rifles myself, all from different manufacturers.
