Mini Thirty is 7.62 x 39 not 7.62 x 51/.308

I'm gunna get a "Big Boy Gun" in semi auto within the year, I already have a Remington 700 in .308. Basically exploring any options that I may have overlooked

Kel Tec RFB is the current .308 that tops my want list, but due to limited production the prices are way too high!

A good FAL is always on the top of my list too!

I just finished building/assembling a AR 308. I chose this platform because of familiarity and available options. If i were to do it again and buy vs build I would look at the Larue OBR or LMT for high dollar rifle and RRA LR8 or DPMS LR308 for a low dollar one.

Know of a public shooting range in the area with a 500yd or longer rifle range? Need to stretch out its legs

Good luck finding the Ruger Scout- I've been trying to buy one for almost 2 months.
