I have a buddy that is thinking about buying a rifle from the this place same rifle as in the link. Wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about their company? The only thing I was curious about was the fact it comes with an aimpoint pro which is 400-450 bucks included all for 999.99 just seemed a little weird that you would be able to get a pre-built rifle with an Aimpoint for that much, and whether they're using cheap parts to put them together and what not. Anyways was just curious.

click on the word this it links you right to it.

I'm with Kolat. Nothing against you obviously, or this wonderful site that is provided for our use for which I am truly grateful! But nothing indicated we needed to click on that word:redface:

Palmetto is legit. Think of it as the same to ARs that "Rock Island Armory" is to 1911s. Not the best. You're going to want to do work on it if you plan to take on the zombies with it. But it's a good way to get in the door.

Palmettos isn't bad. The aimpoint pro is about 350-400 so if you think about it, you're buying a 600-650 AR. It has the 5.56 barrel which is nice. The only issue I would really have is with the front sight/gas block. If you decide to take it off it's going to mar up the barrel. I'm actually in the market for a pro to go with my suppressor setup when I get it.
