First AR build questions

Yesterday I bought a .223 stripped lower for my first build. My goal is to make her a .300AAC Blackout. My question to you good people is do any of you know if a reliable gas piston Blackout has been done? This is the direction I want to go as the AR platform with the reliability of an AK and firing a .30 caliber round gives me a joygasm. Anyone have any info on this please let me know. Any tips or recommendations would be very helpful.

haha that would be humorous. I do have some ideas for the engraving but trying to decide on a color scheme I'm happy with.

I've not put together or shot a blackout yet.

Are you looking for a complete upper or looking to build it out of parts?

I'm not aware of any 300Blk Piston Systems. Are you building a Rifle or Pistol? Do you plan shooting only suppressed, non-suppressed, or both?

I have a 16" 300Blk and DI is just fine.

I think this is what I'm going to go with as I've heard a lot of good things about it. http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=404&idcategory=44#details Was gonna do a piece by piece build but this makes sense (pending I can save $1200 for the upper). Long run I want to suppress it. I've got it milled out now so probably going to order an RRA lower parts kit for her and get her Cerakoted soon.

Not bad at all but I had an instructor walking me through it. I wouldn't want to do it without the right machinery, that's for sure.
