Does anyone have a 410 upper on an AR?

Does it work well? In theory, it could be one hell of a good home defense weapon...

I've used a bolt action .410, but .410 shells are kinda long, aren't they?

you'd prolly have trouble feeding, but if you could find/make/have made a .45LC AR barrel, it might be fun

then again, would you be more $ into it than a saiga that already comes in a .410?

You're gunna have to explain that theory to me...

A shotgun is the ultimate home defense weapon. Granted... a 410 is less effective than the 12 guage currently beside my bed.. but hey... it'd be cool!

There are a couple companies that make 410 uppers. They shoot 2.5" shells.. not 3". I'm building another AR and thought a 410 might be a cool upper to have...

A few recent theories are challanging the assertion that shotguns are the ultimate HD weapon. ARs are climbing in popularity and utility for that purpose. But I suppose a .410 AR could combine the best of both worlds.
