Hey guys,

Any good experience around the Seattle area with machine shops that cut my Mosin bolt handle off and weld on a bent one? I found some services online around $50 but I'm sure that some local shops around here can get a better price going for me.

Thanks

Well replying to an old ass thread, but there's a place where you can send your bolt in and they'll bend it and get it all setup for 50 bucks i believe or you can buy a pre-bent one for 40 or 45.. Google it if you havent figured it out yet.

I have a boltman bolt. Good work. He also bead blasts the bolt - looks absolutely brand new. I can post some pics if you want.

I did an ATI stock replacement on my M38...but went back to the original wood, so in the end I didn't need the bent bolt.

Here is the Boltman's page:

Bruce at MaxShepardBoltProducts.com does great work. I have purchased a few modified bolt handles from him. If you send him your complete bolt assembly he will modify your bolt handle to your specs for about $50+shipping, this includes your choice of metal finish (flat, satin or polished). He also refinishes your entire bolt assembly to match the New bolt handle. He's a good guy to do business and the typical turnaround time is about a week. from original ship date to receiving the final product.
