It's a savage model 12, not 100% sure if it's a BVSS or a low profile varminter, the stock is definently a BVSS but the BVSS did'nt come in .243 but the low profile varminter did. 1/2 inch groups at 200 yards are suppose to be pretty easy with them, I hav'nt shot it yet to know though. T |

the article says 1/2" groups. the standard range if people don't specify is usually 100 yards. that would make the gun hit 1" at 200 yards. which is still sub MOA and very good i would love to see the article that states 1/2"@ 200 yards. there are $1200 dollar guns out there that don't shoot anywere close to 1/4" MOA Quote:

Shot it today using winchester 100grain power points......the cheapest crap I could find to run thru it. This was 2 3 shot groups at 110 yards, Needs a new scope because I adjusted it one click right and 2 clicks down between groups and thats waaaay more than one click right. ![]() T |

Most people have a difficult time with .25 minute accuracy. Regardless of the rifle. But that is a super sweet rifle. I've been looking at a couple Savages lately. BTW I have that same sling, fantastic! | |
