I took my baby in for a scope so i can finally shoot it and hit stuff i am aiming at.
I couldnt see or hit anything through the peep sights, so i dropped the money down and had the scope work completed. Its already a sporter so i didnt destroy a GEM, but this is a GEM to me and i love it.
My Uncle gave me the rifle a few years back for Christmas, Eddystone Enfield m1917.

Has Elk antler inlaid in the stock on both sides of the grip and also up top on the rear tang.
heres the before photos.

Cant wait to take it to the range and dial it in, he also bore sighted it.
Total was $238 out the door for the scope, basee, rings and machine work, all done by Mike Palazzo here in Kent Washington. he builds some real popular rifle setups.

ive had this one sitting here, i couldnt see what i was aiming at through the peep sights so i never went shooting with it except a couple times in the wide open while camping.
never could hit my target so i stored it until recently, now i have a scope mounted on her and i will be able to hit my target.
I dont feel comfortable shooting something & not knowing exactly where i am hitting.
Its just not worth a Woops, im sorry, did that hurt? :headscratch:

I have 2 original british military issue 1917 enfields one in excellent condition the other is mechanically awsome but needs some minor stock work. Im willing to sell the one that needs stock work if you want another.

Am I on crack or is that scope on sideways and backward?

I see what you mean, but the focus/zoom ring is on the eye end. so its correct. lol the adjustments are placed really far fwd on that scope.

Good looking rig for sure.

I've never seen a scope with the adjustment turret on the right hand side... Did the gunsmith mount that or the OP? Or again, am I just on crack? lol...

Checked. Nope, mine is definitely opposite to that. (I never thought i'd have to do something like that) I've never seen a scope where the turrets weren't on the left side for elevation, and on top for windage. Odd..

Might want to rotate your scope 90 degrees. Top should be elevation, right is windage. Left is paralax if you have it.
