If you're looking to buy a scope to go out to 1000yds, you'd need to get a high end scope. The absolute lowest I would go is the Millet tactical scope I think it's somewhere around 500 to 600. They won't last thru as much shooting and abuse as a Leupold mk4 (1,400) or a Premier reticles scope 3-15 (2,888) but you only buy a rifle once. Also, in my opinion, 32 magnification is too much. It degrades clarity, FOV will be very narrow, and you will be fighting mirage the entire time (hot or cold weather). Better quality glass over rules magnification  .
