As stated in the title, I've been looking at Nikon's Pro Staff 4-12x, the Burris Full-field 4.5.-14x, and the Redfield Revolution 3-9x.

Any thoughts?

Could end up on my AR at some point as well but for right now looking at the .17hmr.

hmmm don't know the exact models, but I like redfield, then nikon.. burris is doing pretty well these days.

I have a cheap ($150'ish) BSA sweet 17 (6-18x40) on my savage 17hmr it does a great job.. (i'd probably never put that scope on a different gun though)

I ended up buying a Nikon 4-14x Pro Staff. I played around with all of them at Cabela's and ended up liking this one the most. Been great for me so far.

great choice

I have a ball with my .17 HMR AR. I have taken everything from squirrel's to coyotes with it. All shots were inside of 150 yards and coyotes were headshots.
I have a Nikon PROSTAFF 5 3.5-14 First Focal Plane on mine. I put it on the rifle because it was lying around thinking that I would swap it out later, 2 years have gone by and it's staying where it is.
