So I traded the 30-30 that I got tuesday for this today. Have wanted to try shooting 45-70 govt for a while so figured the best way to do that would be to get one :-)

Great rifle,more of a push than a recoil........My buddy has an old Springfield trap door 45-70.....Yours is nice too.

Nice T.. My dad has an old Trapdoor Springfield as well.. I've got a Mauser 98 in 45-70.

Love that gun! What a kick in the ass (er... shoulder) to shoot!
