A quick poll to get a feel for those who do/don't concealed carry.

I have both a Washington and a Utah license. I've been carrying concealed (with a permit) for almost 20 years.

Have had one for about 20 years now, but don't carry too often. Though I have been carrying more often now that I have my little pocket-rocket LCP. :)

I let my last one lapse- I'll renew next week.

Of course, I still believe the 2nd Amendment gives the right to carry and no one else.

You still have to do a background check each time you purchase a firearm. The CPL simply allows you to take home handguns the same day you purchase them.

When you figure out how to conceal it when not wearing a trench coat please let me know! I tried carrying mine in the small of my back & it just didn't work out!

i take my muzzle break off and put on a smaller one(cheaperthandirt) and use a 15 round mag, short sling under right arm carry, i can actually wear a medium coat and get away with it, another trick i use so the barrel doesnt swing around is velco from the barrel to the inside of the jacket, it doesnt stick that much and pulling the 16 out is not hard at all.

If I'm not carrying the .45's, it's because I am drinking, which is rare, but rest assure that 2-3 of the people with me are still armed.

Finding a Designated driver isn't hard when none of us will trade a night of drinking for being able to carry.

If we are drinking, it isn't at a bar ;) I don't enjoy people to the extent others seem to.

Gun shops can't do it, nor can gun shows. You need to go to your local cop shop.

Talking Have it, love it and utilize it!

I have my CWP but I don't always carry concealed. I will often open carry or conceal. Other then at work (where I am not permited to carry much to my dissapointment) I always have my side arm on me. I open carry when I go on walks with the family, (as does my wife, still ain't got her CWP yet) but when I want to remain annonomous I conceal. I love talking to people about our 2nd ammendment right which is why I open carry, but other times I conceal just to have quite time out with the family. I believe anyone who gets their license/ permit better be packing their weapon or the license is just another peice of paper rotting in their wallent and 75$ they wasted. I wish all responsible gun owners would carry abd speak honestly to people about it. Sorry to soap box jump, especially on my 1st forum post. Love this forum. Keep it up guys.
