Was googling this information and didn't find any other information using search, so I wanted to pass this along to all with CCW's.

These are the only states that accept a Washington CCW, and Washington Accepts these states as well.

Not many (or any), that are next to us.

Attorney General Office Webpage List

I thought Idaho was part of this, but I guessed wrong?

sorry dear master koorbloh.. I didn't really pay that much attention apparently. Sorry for offending you.

You can now go back to doing whatever you normally do in your spare time. And considering the fact it is a new year, perhaps they updated it, and added new info, but I didn’t check revision dates, so perhaps you can do us all a favor since you have so much time to surf the interweb and let me know the last time it was updated before the link I provided?

Oh and the last think you provided for the Utah CCW course gives a link that shows what states accept what CCW’s and what not, but that website it’s an actual .gov website, so I would have been leery following that website.

And when did I say I was going to provide info for Oregon? I was giving info for Washington state, but thanx for trolling some more.

And if you look at the first link that was provided by a fellow member about Washington, the information that he provided in his post is a little outdated. Seems that Idaho is off that list now according to the link I provided?

OK guys. Settle down. The WA AGs office has a list that includes the states that Washington has formal reciprocity with. The list at their website is more useful as an indicator of which permits Washington will honor. Several other states unilaterally honor Washington permits. Idaho is one, Montana is another. The best site I have found for information on carry permits and reciprocity is: Handgunlaw.us

This site offers maps (Handgunlaw.us : CCW Map) and charts (http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USReciprocity.pdf) and all the links you could want to find carry permit information.

We almost got a lot more a few years ago, when our Legislature passed a Bill that would have had WA recognize every other states' permits. That would have trigerred instant recognition of ours by quite a few more states than is the case now, roughly double the number as I recall. But.....our then Grand Master Gary Locke got in on the act and vetoed it for us,so here we are....may he be enjoying the other Washington thoroughly.

Oregon has legislation in the house right now trying to get the state to recognize all other state ccw's. I Don't know if it'll pass but I really hope it does.

Let's hope Oregon proceeds with the reciprocity legislation-it's crazy that we who are right next door can't excercise our rights when we go down there to shop, sightsee, etc. Maybe this time around logic will prevail.
