Free training...

Hey guys,

I'm offering a free pistol/hand to hand training class this Saturday.

This class will be 100% dry...in other words leave the bullets at home. Otherwise bring your gear - pistol, holster, back up mag & pouch.

We'll warm up a bit with drawing from concealment, mag changes, movement...but quickly will move into hand to hand material. How far we get depends on who shows up.

7-9pm this Saturday night in Bothell. Free for anyone on this forum if it's the first time training with me.

If you're interested let me know, I'll provide details.

Thanks

Sounds awesome, Brent. Thanks for the offer. I'll be out of town, but here's to a successful training session!

That's a very generous offer, if I lived up there, I would certainly take it.

I am working a surveillance this weekend or would for sure make it. Need to plan a bit more in advance if possible?
But thank you for the generous offer, I would love to do it.

How'd it go? I have a feeling even after beating the hell out of one another I'd still have been in better shape than my trip to Vegas -- I'm wiped out...

We had a great time as usual.

One of the fellow SI instructors came down to help me out. there were a few cancellations so it ended up being a small class. Two of my martial art students, and a couple of my gun students...ended up being a perfect mix. Both groups were equally confused, just confused about different things. ;)

Seriously though it was good. I think everyone came away with a lot better understanding of the fight continuum. Always more things to work on....

One of the guys brought some of his home brew, so we all had a couple swigs of after training Stout. Good times.
