New guy here. I lived in Oregon and had a CCP for several years. Not I live in Port Townsend Washington and have a Washington permit. I travel once a month to spend a week in Oregon. I do it right, locking my unloaded 1911 in the trunk and unloading all magazines before entering Oregon.

I know Multnolma and Clackamas Counties do not take non resident permits. So, who does? What are the Washington friendly Counties?

Thanks

Try searching some old threads, I think we might have discussed this before. I got mine through Linn County and they were very easy to deal with. I think all counties have to take the applications, some are just more willing than others, and while it is shall issue for OR residents, it is not for the adjacent states.

Linn county accepted personal protection as a valid reason for applying.

Check out this site. Lots of good info there.

CHL Central - Oregon Firearms Federation

The only sure bet is Sheriff Palmer in Grant County. Its a long drive from the Seattle area but he is the only one that WILL give Washington residents Oregon CPL's. Sometimes he comes to Vancouver and Puyallup to collect Oregon CPL apps but you will have to contact him to see if/when he will be there again.

Scott..Check with Columbia Co. They are very out of state friendly. .close to the border. Get off I5 at Longview and head down 30. I even believe sometimes the have gone to the Seattle gun show to process out of state applicants. You can make an appointment on their website.
