Handgun Carry While Riding a Motorcycle

Galco vertical shoulder holster and a 40 BHP, 1911 or EAA Witness 10MM

The problem with a shoulder holster is I'm always wearing a jacket and backpack with a chest strap and depending on the backpack, sometimes a belly strap as well. Good luck getting to that gun in a hurry.

What's worked best for me is small gun in the front pocket of my jacket. I was using a Ruger LCP for this, but recently upgraded to an M&P Shield in 9mm. It's not a quick/easy draw by any means, but it's way faster than trying to undo backpack straps and open a jacket.

That would be great if the zombies come or some other EOTWAWKI situation, but I don't think that's gonna fly most places (besides Texas maybe).

Oh yeah. Unless things go mad max/red dawn this is a terrible idea, but in that case it would be neat.

It just so happens I recently installed RAM ball mounts on my DRZ for DoubleTake mirrors, so one (or two!) of those holsters would slap right on.

I was thinking more like Alice in "Resident Evil: Extinction".....

First I'd roll up on my bike and be like, "Hey someone gonna pump me some gas here?"

And then I'd be all like, "I SAID PUMP ME SOME GAS, BITCHES!!!"
