Outdoor range general seattle area

im looking for an outdoor range (besides the kenmore one and renton one) in the general seattle area, i would drive about 50 miles or so in any direction for a good range...any suggestions? i live in north seattle...went to the kenmore range yesterday to test out the new AR and didnt realize it was ONE BULLET loaded into the gun at any one time...makes you learn how to swap mags quickly, but kind of defeats the purpose of semi auto

It might be pushing the range of your 50 miles, but there is a range in Gig Harbor with a few rifle lanes. I have not shot rifles there, but the website says they allow 5 shots in each magazine for rifles. Check out the website Home - Gig Harbor Sportsmans Club

I think the lanes are only 100 yards so depending on what you are wanting it for, it could work for you.

Check out Seattle Police Atheletic Association, they have memberships available for civilians.

Tacoma Sportsmans Club. Dont know how many miles it is from you.. 10 rounds in centerfire rifles is allowed. Good range too !
Might be worth the drive to check it out. I go Tues. or Wed.. Fridays are packed ! All lanes were filled..

I like the Bremerton Rifle and Revolver Club. It is the first range that I have ever been to that allows *rapid fire* as long as it remains under control. The only other range around this neck of the woods is the Poulsbo Sportsman's Club. They are okay, but no rapid fire, and yellow safety flags are required for the chambers of all clear and safe firearms on the bench.

Shit man if you're in north Seattle go up to the hills, plenty of places to shoot up in the mountains and it falls within your 50 mile range. I would prefer to shoot in the mountains over a range any day.

Have you tried the range in Issaquah? It's only about 25 min from me in Kirkland, can't be too much further from Seattle. Good range, not full of magazine nazis like Kenmore. I think it's called Issaquah Sportsmans Club.
