Our day looking for guns

Frustrated with the lack of hand guns on the Kitsap Penn I decided it was time to take a road trip to the I5 side. So we took the ferry across to Edmonds and went to 5 stores (plus a Tandy's so the wife could get some reupholstering cowhide)

Here's where we went with a little comment on each

ADVENTURE SPORTS
19905 SCRIBER LAKE RD
LYNNWOOD, WA 98036
(425) 771-3877

I like this store. I had never been there before but they had a pretty good selection and were pretty helpful. They were pretty busy which is a good sign. Lots of handguns

Sam's Gun Shop & Range
11714 Airport Road
Everett, WA 98204
(425) 348-3006

From looking at their website pictures I was expecting a lot more than there was.
I was pretty disappointed. I hadn't been there before. Probably won't go back

FEDERAL WAY DISCOUNT GUNS
33120 PACIFIC HWY S0UTH SUITE 2
FEDERAL WAY, WA 98003
(253) 927-5229

Who could not like this place?
Everytime I have surveyed, they've had the best prices around. I've bought a couple guns there.

Sportco Warehouse Sporting Goods
4602 20th St. E.,
Fife, WA 98424
(253) 922-2222

A variety of sporting goods but not that big a selection of hand guns. Their prices are higher than normal unless you are a member then they are normal. It would pay to be a member if you made a big purchase. I bought a gun safe there a few years back and joined to do it.

BULL'S EYE SHOOTER SUPPLY, LLC
414 A PUYALLUP AVE
TACOMA, WA 98421
(253) 572-6417

I've bought a couple handguns here. Fun shooting spot. Not the best prices but usually a good selection. Friendly personnel. I like to shoot there

Cabela’s
1600 Gateway Blvd. NE
Lacey, WA 98516
360-252-3500

A mad house
Lots of people, lots of guns. Not very good prices but usually they have stuff that you can't get somewhere else (because the are so big). Don't expect real personal service because there's 5 guys behind you that want something too

I wish I could have gotten to (but how much can you get the wife to put up with)
Kesselring Gun Shop
4024 Old Highway 99
Burlington, WA 98233
360-724-3113

I haven't been there in a few years and I've always liked it there. I hope it hasn't changed

Bonus of the day
I got the wife to look at guns on her own!
While I was off looking at stuff she actually had a clerk take a couple guns out of the case so she could hold them and try them on.
This could be the start of something big....
