just picked an SA XD40 SC from my local shop. Its used but got a pretty good deal on it. does show some wear but mechanically is in really good condition. This will be my Conceal carry as soon as my permit arrives which should be next week some time. Okay Here's some pics: ![]() ![]() ya thats right, purple towel. only one my wife would let me convert to gun cleaning towel lol.

I am still debating between the XD-M and a Sig P229. I love both. Those are some great pics.

ive fired both and i tell ya what, they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. if you like hammerless then go with the XDM, cant go wrong with it. if you prefer hammers or just sigs in general than go with the p229. you wont be let down on either choice. Good luck!
