back before my back surgery april 7 i picked up 2 rifles that were water damaged and fire damaged.

This one was nearly toast. if its not accurate, atleast i will have a nice rifle that shoots bird shot.
Single shot, model 33 remington.

Bore and all the steel came out really alot better than i expected. cant wait to go play around and see if its a keeper for cans or birdshot.

All i have to do now is put a coating on the buttplate and refinish the wood. waiting for more funds to buy some spray.

Ruger 77/22, all the bluing blistered off during a house fire, end of the stock is a little charred still.
Metal cleaned uf really nice considering its all pitted. the Blue wonder bluing kit hides it really wall after some 220, 320 and 600 grit paper hit it.
took me many hours nad sanding, wish i had me a little lathe lol!

One of these days i will be able to afford a new stock, right now i just want it ready to bust some cans when i go camping. going to be a fun little rifle to modify at a later day, maybe a custom bull barrel and laminated stock.
I will strip the reciever some day and have it duracoated flat black as with anything else on the gun i can find. if it shoots well enough i will also duracoat this barrel.

Find an old treddle sewing machine and use the treddle and flywheel add some weights to it, and make a frame and bearings a drive center and a live center and you can make one nice polishing lathe. All foot powered.

With your ability and imagination it should be a breeze to make.
There are no junker guns, just ones that need "fixin"
