Hey guy's my XD-9 was at a buddies house in a case with another pistol, I went to retrieve them and I noticed the XD-9 had a small scratch on the slide. The scratch isn't deep (you can run your finger over it and not even feel it) but its about 1/4 of an inch long and kind of jagged. I'm wondering if there's anything out there that I could use to try to touch it up a little so it's less obvious? I am very anal about my guns and I always keep them in pristine condition and I'm pretty sure they were taken out and handled when I wasn't there which really irritates me but theres nothing I can do about it now. I would really like to get it touched up to the best of my ability. I'll try and take a picture of it but I doubt it would really show up. If it comes down to it is it expensive to have the slide reparkerized?

If this is a carry gun & not a show piece, don't worry about it! After it is holstered a few hundred times, you probably won't even be able to notice it.

try rubbing some dirty oil on it, might just need a little lube if its not threw the finish

It may only be an XD, but I like having my guns in pristine condition regardless of the type of firearm. Matt the glock is holding up well went to the range the day after I got it from you, had a blast shooting it, but I havent been able to go out to the range again because my ailment has been keeping me grounded so to speak.
