The extractor was the problem in the first generation. There has been cases where the recoil casuses the charging handle to hit the front of the tube and I guess can crack it after time. Rrages.com sells a replacement buffer that goes in front of the charging handle and backs it up enough to where it won't hit the front of the tube.

I have a spank'in new GSG5 Carbine. ![]() When I took it apart to inspect it and install the parts^^^ we talked about. It was D R Y!!! Just a little assembly lube is all.No way should the new rifle be used without a complete inspection. |
