Yep. Voted. I regularly carry a firearm. I regularly patronize Starbucks. I've regularly done both at the same time. And y'know what? Not only has it ever caused a problem, but even the people I've been at Starbucks WITH, weren't aware that I was carrying. Unless they start serving liquor in Starbucks, the only thing they'll be able to do is ask me to leave...and that's IF they somehow find out I'm carrying. Hooray for common sense! |

I didn't see an option for "let the company deal with it's own business", so I didn't vote.

The question is...... Do you believe customers should be allowed to bring guns into Starbucks? |

yes, but they will extrapolate their results to mean that people should or shouldn't carry guns, you know it. don't pretend it's not a loaded poll. btw...if I'm not a reader of their publication, why would I vote in their poll that is supposed to be a snapshot of their readers, potentially skewing their results about their readership? and one more thing: the story isn't about starbucks, in fact, they've asked to be kept out of this. and it's not about guns either. it's about a company that is being hassled by an organization to change their ways. in this case, the company is starbucks, but just like so many before it, the real story are the people who think they know what is better for the company than the board of directors. So much debate over a "Yes--No--I Don't Know" question? Seems like a simple question to me, but probably you should not vote. |

Starbucks policy is to follow state law, in this case allowing people to carry in their stores. For that reason a vote of yes coincides with their policy and, in this case, coincides with my beliefs.
