Those comments are classic. My gf just moved here from Massachusetts and she has such an ass backwards opinion of what state government is as a result of her time there. I find myself having to constantly school her on what life is like in the other 49 states.

Good ol' Romney.

Stock up on your AR's now before they are gone. :)

ha ha.. I hear that every year.

I suppose someday it will be true, but until then the guys that make the little black rifles will keep getting all my money!

Never have too many AR's

Well, I'm pretty far right as far as my political views.
I WILL NOT support anyone who wants to ban my rights.

So he signed a bill sent to him by the Legislature. All the more reason for people to pay close attention to who they are voting for. Most overlook "Legislators" and focus on the "Head Guy" in either State or Federal elections. The morons in the Legislature or Congress are the ones that are most dangerous.

This next election will be focusing on who can run the economy more than who is, or isn't in favor of firearms. All those Representatives and Senators who are running for election/reelection won't be tweaking any noses in the gun community this time around. Most will be fighting for their political lives over the current fiasco over the Debt and taxes. A great time for a "house (and Senate) cleaning".

A term limit of ONE!

That would keep them focused on the job, not on raising money for reelection which seems to be all they do until there is a crisis.

Having a limited amount of time would force these fools to focus.

This doesn't sound like a bad idea. On the other hand, if someone is doing a really good job; it would seem like a shame to give them the boot and have some jackass replace them.

so what does everyone think of Ron Paul?

I really like Ron Paul, but I'd have a hard time voting for someone who wants to criminalize abortion and legalize drugs. You know, those minor issues.

As far as his political goals I think he's right on the money, and I'd love to ditch a big chunk of our government and go back to respecting the constitution.

That's the excuse they all use when running for reelection. They point out the good stuff they all do and then when reelected turn into a jackass, just like the rest.

Inglewood--

I like some of Ron Paul's ideas too. Unfortunately, under our current system, any vote for him is a vote for the "Incumbent".

We need a strong candidate that can represent ALL those that are upset with the current status so the vote isn't spread all over the back 40 acres.

Most of the candidates like Ron Paul know they can't win, they just want to be enough of a threat to the others that they might be able to get a "political payoff" should they throw their support behind an eventual winner.

In essence the politics here aren't much different than in Iraq, just fewer car bombs.

Please name any member of congress that's doing a really good job, and is not a corrupt, worthless sack of **** worthy of even one term, let alone more. Go on, I'll wait.

I voted for him last go around and if he runs again will do the same. Last I checked he wasn't about criminalizing abortion. Although his personal stance is anti-abortion, his official stance on it was to let each state decide...

Good ol' Romney.

Mass is nothing. CA has the worst gun laws in the entire US. I guess they like the fact that each law abiding citizen is a target because we all know that criminals ignore gun laws.:rolleyes:

Pretty stupid.. Though they should define the difference between a rifle ie AK47 and a Submachine gun/Machine pistol ie Mac 10/11 and Uzi's..
