I wont get too far into the back story, but I had a detective advise me to carry after some issues with my ex's step dad. Long story short half a dozen death threats and numerous threatening phone calls later led to that advise....

I now carry almost 90% of the time. Thankfully he lives a few hours from where I am at.

His suggestion would also go a long way to relieving the jail overcrowding problem. The fewer like this serial offender that make it to jail the less overcrowding.

Well maybe when we ban private, for-profit prisons that have a perverted financial interested in seeing more people locked up for longer sentences, and actively lobby for stiffer sentencing and jail times for minor crimes, or just skip that step and go straight to bribing judges and giving them kickbacks for sending them more 'customers' prison population would go down.

Or we could end the abject failure known as 'the war on drugs' which had bred more crime, more death & misers, cost billions of dollars and not done a goddamned thing to stop drugs, just like prohibition didn't do a goddamned thing to stop the flow of alcohol.

Just ask yourself, why does the US incarcerate WAY more of it's citizens than any other developed nation?

Well the decline of Europe is going to be interesting. They haven't had a population that matches, say our African American underclass before. But they have created one through promoting immigration to shore up the working class but doing nothing to integrate them into the working class! They are now going to face Millions of Ethnic Minorities who have no expectations of ever working! The car burnings in France, the looting in London, etc. It's going to get interesting over there...

And no, I'm not saying only black guys go to jail.
