Do you think there is any truth to the news about Obama's bed buddy Soros buying up these weak gun and bullet manufacturing companies just so the DOPE can take away our rights and out guns? This is scary............... Continued assault on our freedoms come from "behind the scenes" in a lot of different ways, here's an example. Who is buying gun companies SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT KNOW , THAT IS HAPPENING Who is buying companies, manufacturing guns ????? For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group has been buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R. Some people worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States . If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stop selling to civilians.. What a perfect way to control guns. Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a company called Cerberus Capital Management. A very large privately owned LLP with assets of $13 billion. The company is named after the three headed dog that guards the gates to hell. [Nice touch?] Guess who controls Cerberus??? GEORGE SOROS !!!!!!!!! One of the most evil men on this planet who wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns. Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come out. Why have we not heard about this in the "mainstream" media? I would think this would be BIG news. (Soros also owns Progressive Insurance) If you don't know who George Soros is, you need to do some research. He backed Obama with multi-millions of dollars and Obama is often characterized as a puppet on a string, controlled by Soros . Send this to every gun owner in America . Oh yeah and do you think if you tell everyone what you own by using this FBI web site that big brother knows and is keeping track, OOOOHHH Last edited by Ordrock; 02-21-2012 at 01:58 PM. |

interdasting... i had just assumed cerberus was just buying those companies and lowering the quality/production value in those companies, but then again i dont buy from those companies either (after looking over some of my friend's bushmasters and DPMS ARs, and my sniper buddies all hate the barrel quality on remingtons recently coming out). but to be honest i dont follow industry news a whole lot... |

I tend more to believe this stuff, nothing the DOPE has said that would benefit me or mine hasn't happened yet. But everything that he has to screw me and those like me sure has happened. Military benefits, VA Benefits, tax cuts, bull shit. Gun control, oh hell yeah, you betcha. When was the last time you went looking for ammo and noticed shelves empty?

I tend to discount the veracity of any message that arrives in my e-mail or is posted with the plea "Pleas pass this on to everyone you know". Answer a simple question. Why would a successful corporation waste money by buying up companies in order to put them out of business? Maybe old "Georgie Boy" is smarter than some of the people he supports and realizes that gun owners will continue to buy guns and ammo. These companies may well be a better investment than all the "Greenie" companies the politicians are pushing. This guy didn't get wealthy by being stupid. |

I'm still fucking pissed at all the extreme right wing chicken-littles that CAUSED the ammo/gun shortage and skyrocketing prices (ammo still hasn't fully lowered to what it was) during the last election, all for nothing as NOTHING HAPPENED. Thanks a lot, assholes. Thanks to your rabid paranoid, we all got fucked, ammo prices went up and have stayed up. There's not one bit of shortage anymore, but everything is still at least 25% higher than just a few years ago. Even IF Obama did want to enact some kind of gun control, he'd have a snowball's chance in hell of it getting through congress, not to mention public sentiment is against gun control, as more and more states are *relaxing* gun laws, not tightening them. Right here in WA we can now legally own (and actually use!) suppressors. If there ever is a real threat to our 2nd amendment rights, we'll know it, and it damn well won't come from some stupid chain email.

Pete said it. I don't understand how people can read those and actually believe them. Then again there are the people that believed they had millions in their name in a bank account in Africa, all they need is all of your info to transfer it to you and you'll be rich!!!!!!! *cough* idiots *cough*

Apparently these chuckleheads don't have a friggin clue how our government even works, and that Executive branch (that be the Prez) can't just unilaterally do much of anything without the approval of congress. Obama cannot simply 'ban guns' no matter how much he might want to, it just doesn't work that way. He'd not only have to get re-elected, but have the Dems sweep the house and senate, which simply isn't going to happen. I can't decide who I hate more, politicians or stupid people.

I'll just wait out the next "scare" and look for some good deals when they hit the market as used in a few years.
