This Saturday (1/19/13) Second Amendment supporters all over the US will be gathering in their state capitols and peacefully protesting any form of future gun bans. I hope all of you have heard of this and plan on attending. I'll be in Salem with some friends OCing with about 500 other people if any of you Oregonians want to join us! We'll be taking pics and videos as well.

I planned on going with my daughter until someone mentioned a possibility of some false flag crap happening. Now its just me. Chances are slim to none, but I don't want to bring her down to something that might pose trouble.

For me it's more a matter of if anything will come of it or if "they" win by making me not shoot IDPA like I originally planned. On top of that, no one is there on a Saturday, so unless we get spectacular media treatment (good luck with that), I just don't see a huge payoff.
Meh, then there's early evening plans that would be impacted...

I am optimistic that we will have a great turnout at the Capital Building on Sat. Two local pro-gun radio hosts will be there to broadcast. The OSP has approved our gathering but will be there to ensure everyone behaves appropriately. If you are unsure of carry restictions then just bring a sign and a positive attitude. I fully expect to have ANTI'S there so be prepared to act politely and promote a positive image of gunowners. If you planned on wearing your beer stained Lynrd Skynrd tee shirt with your camo BDU pants while toting your loaded bubbaed out (AK, AR, M1A, FAL....etc) then please reconsider. The media will be there just waiting to film any innapropriate behavior......just my .02

If you see me come say hi. I may be the only person wearing this shirt but I could be wrong lol. I'll have a stainless 1911 in a blackhawk holster on my hip as well.

What time are you all meeting? We are from out of town and have recently moved to OR. Don't know too many people yet - but sure don't want to have moved here just to lose my gun rights!!! I would love to help if possible.
I am going to spend my day with my High standard 22 on my hip today, I will visit my local gun shops and show my support. I am wearing my best clothes, clean shaven, gel in my hair, and a smile. Presenting a good message and image today.
I'll give you 3 guesses about who slept in and missed this (and his IDPA match that he's been talking about for a month...) :tard:
