Following are possible scenarios:

1. Software problem. Could be human error (by NWFA or their server host), bad patch or update, etc.

2. Hacked. Malware, compromised admin credentials, etc.

3. Problem with server. However, they're with LiquidWeb who is top-notch, so while a short outage wouldn't surprise me because things happen, one of this length would if it was LW's fault.

First I thought they were doing some cleaning based on the malicious attachment problem.

I think its a hack now. Its odd that nothing is said over on their Facespace page though. There was a tweet from NWF about 10 AM yesterday, silence since.

I see that as of 1:00pm that the site is starting to come back. slowly.

And Phrank you might have something there. I do need to get something done. If I could just stop worrying about where NWFA is I think I'd be OK.

Interesting, I just went to the site and it suggested I donate again to keep my supporting member status.... except the problem is I have never been a supporting member.... fishy, I am thinking it was hacked and they are trying to trick people to give them their acct #'s??

I saw the same message, but without being logged in. Which means it's just a generic message, not related to one's actual history. I wouldn't worry about it.
