I wouldn't tell the fat lady to sing just yet. I feel like they might have something up their sleeve. Although Obama sure has gone quite on the subject lately. Maybe he intends to pass an executive order to pass Feistein's bill.

I agree 110%! I would not be surprised if Obama before leaving office tries again, but does it in a much more sneaky way.
What is more concerning is the culture of "gun disgust" that has emerged in this country. There is a large percentage of the country that is down right scared of guns and wants them to be banned all together. It's a hard idea for me to wrap my head around cause I have grown up around guns, hunting, fishing, camping, ect. I can usually understand other points of view, but its very hard for me to understand the idea of "gun disgust".

This is thanks to the liberal Political Correctness. "Guns are evil, they will kill you, so be very afraid of them." Instead of training kids on proper handling and safety, they teach them to fear them. I know that years ago, some high schools even had rifle clubs. Unfortuntately we all know how the Lamestream Media pushes this agenda with only showing the negative use of firearms and not where they have been used to defend life. In fact, just last night, our 11'oclock News (Channel 7) referred to a 14 year-old that was shot in the side, pushing and accentuating the "very scary moments" really bothered me. Every time they previewed it, and during the regular newscast, it was "very scary moments." Yes, it was probably scary to the girl, her friends, and parents, and I don't mean to diminsh the situation but it seemed the reporters wanted to express "how scary" the situation was. That's one area that has the sheeple duped.
I love the look of my neighbor when he sees me loading up the truck full of rifle cases, ammo boxes, and gear. Its rather interesting cause he really scowls at me which is fine. What is hilarious is my neighbor from Egypt smiles waves and says hi. Doesn't even phase him, but freaks out the guy from California.
Kind of sad that we have to live in a society that believes everything the media puts out there.
