Inslee signs bill for registry of gun offenders

So what do you guys think about this? I have mixed feelings. I don't like the idea of comparing gun ownership to sexual deviancy, but then this isn't about ownership. It is a database of people who have already commited crimes using weapons. I would like to know a little more about what "gun crimes" qualify you to be put on this list.

On one hand, I have no problem with the state making background checks more efficient. On the other hand, I inherently distrust any government list. Zero sum game..
