They seem to be denying it (of course). But we will have to wait and see what they support before I will write them off completely.

But having their initial campaign seem to be an insult to the NRA by implying they are insane is not a good start.

Well I had never supported the NRA because of so much of what they lobbied for/against and their political stances. I buckled after Sandy Hook but almost immediately regretted it. Not completely, but still...

I think their campaign about not being "insane" is somewhat apt. It would be a tough sell for someone who wasn't a dyed in the wool conservative to associate themselves with the NRA. There are other organizations out there trying to be non-partisan, this seemed like another.

But yeah, not a great way to start...
