Post Restoring gun rights in Oregon

All of the relevant threads are old so I made a new one. I am in the process of expunging my record. The question is once I do, do I still have to petition for my gun rights back? Both federally and on the state level? Also is there a way to get them back if I get denied, nasty judge doesn't want to see change? Uncle sam and the state need money but petitioning is costing me alot of money.
I know most are no lawyers on here but maybe some are. Any advice would be great. Thanks ahead of time.
