I couldn't wait until the weekend

Well I got her. Couldn't find the stainless fluted 22/45... so I got the blued 22/45. The 1911 grip just felt so right in my hand.

She's so beautiful... I almost cried when I opened the box. Can't wait to put a few hundred through her this weekend.

Here she is in her oily glory

Make sure to clean her before taking her out. All that heavy oiling from the factory needs to go.

Nice! But couldn't ya at least wiped all your smudgy prints off it for the pics?

I like the look of the grip and logo on the MKIII vs my MKII. You'll dig shooting it, it's fun and super accurate.
