I'm kinda new to the area and was wondering where is the best place to buy ammo...I'm looking for .22, .243, 30-06, .45ACP, 12 gauge, and 5.56mm/.223 I heard Washington State has monthly gun shows in Puyallup and Monroe, but you're not allowed to purchase guns or ammunition unless you are a member of the gun show. Is this true? How do the ammo prices at these gun shows compare to retail stores? I wish "Sam's Club" and "Costco" sold ammo/guns ![]() I'm in the Bothell/Mill Creek/Snohomish area. If anyone would like to "car-pool" for an ammo run let me know. I don't pay Washington State Sales Tax, and I often receive a military/law enforcement discount as well. |

The Puyallup gun show has good prices on bulk ammo. And you're in luck, there's one this weekend!

I repeat do not buy ammo at gunshows, a bunch of people here in Spokane just got burned at the last gunshow. Walmart is your best bet or bulk .223 ammunition, bulk 308 ammunition or https://surplusammo.com/index.php?ma...34ecf4e9553eaa |

However, the prices at gun shows are still high in comparison to many stores, especially Walmart prices. They probably paid way too much for what they got. I walked around for a while at the last gun show and saw price differences in ammo and components up to 100%. (saw some primers for $30 and another table was selling the same primers for $60) Make sure you shop around and know local and online+shipping pricing before you go to the gun show. Don't forget to include admission in the price of your purchases if you're not a member. | |

visited the Monroe gun show this weekend... I couldn't believe the prices on guns and ammo. I took a quick walk around and left in a hurry. Seen much better prices at retail stores. Had some nice WWII stuff though :)
