carrying because you're afraid of snakes

In Texas and much of the South/Southwest, you'd be rightly afraid of snakes.
My grandfather nearly lost a foot to a nasty bite from a cottonmouth.

sure, i would be afraid of snakes. but carrying a purse pistol to defend myself against a snake?

as jeffy mentioned early, and i found via google. however...it looks like a pita to get snake shot in .380.

I used to walk my dog carrying my 44 with the first two rounds being bird shot.
Probably would work pretty good on a snake

Nothing wrong with carrying a 380 for use on snakes... it's called marksmanship.
