Question Should I be upset? Or, am I being a sore head?

Last month 'Cheaper Than Dirt', sent me an email advertizing a 'one day only' sale on SWAT bags. Reg. $29.95 reduced sale price $19.95 plus $12.95 shipping.
I didnt get home until AFTER the closing date.
I called and asked if they would still honor the sale.
Of course they said no.
( I wanted 2 bags)
I explained I was out of town, and this was the first I had seen the 'One day only sale'.
Didnt matter. 'They dont change prices.
Well, I see their point.
But, I also used to buy stuff from them.
Am I just being a sore head?

well it was a one day sale. Online stores don't have to worry about keeping there customers happy especially when they are as big as cheaper than dirt. from there view they are still making money even without your business.

anyway why do you think they should extend the sale for you? are you famous?

I work retail and have to deal with the same stuff all the time, people always want the sale price and it gets really annoying.

Try to think of it from a business point of view, would you knock money off a product every time somebody gave you an excuse why they couldn't buy it during the sale? If you did that for every person, you would be out of business in no time.

most online stores will not let you return without 20% restocking fee so it makes it not worth it
