Very worthwhile roadtrip...

Just got back from a 1200 mile drive.. My father-in-law passed away, and left me all his firearms.

I didn't know what to expect.. but damn. These suckers were never used!
Browning .22 lever. Perfect
Winchester .22 win mag. Perfect
Mossberg .22 bolt, (142A) Old sucker.. not perfect
Mossberg 500A 12 gauge. both barrels. Perfect
Rem 700 in 22-250. frikkin perfect
Mauser 98 in 8MM. Beautiful.
Voere Mauser in 30-06. Unbelieveably beautiful.
Ruger stainless single six. New
Taurus mdl 66 .357 mag. 4". perfect.

plus ammo up the bunghole for all the above..

Again, well worth the drive.

Anyone got an extra gun safe? Mine is getting kinda full....

Thanks Guff.

I took a couple pics last nite while I was cleaning a couple of 'em..

30-06; I'm pretty sure it is a Voere custom. Still doing some research on it..

8MM; Another Mauser 98 action. So far I've learned this is a "Russian capture" German Mauser. Other than that, I don't know much else yet..

22-250 Remington 700; I've got a Leopold 3-9 that's goin on it soon..

The little Browning .22 lever. What a cool little plinker!!

That's all the pics I've got for now..
