Could this have been a 'good' buy?

I am not sure what they are actually going for these days but seems VERY high. Big 5 is NOT good on their surplus rifle prices.

Just checked GB and there are plenty in the $250-300 range. Last 5 I got were $125 but that was about 3 years ago.

GB is a great site. just remember that you need an FFL to have the seller send the firearm to when you win the auction.

It depends on what you buy. If you have a C&R (03 FFL) and the gun is a C&R you can have it shipped to yourself or if it an antique firearm.

Like any other deal you need to look at the total price and compare to decide if it is a good deal or not. I was looking at a gun today in the shop and it would cost $562 out the door. I can order the same gun with shipping and transfer for $410..........

Grigg's in Pasco tried that with me.
I bought from Holly(Columbia Gun Rack, Kennewick) instead.
Better price and she don't gouge!

To answer your question...no, that's a horrible price. You should pay no more than $300 for a Yugo SKS. It doesn't even mention if it's numbers matching or if it includes the typical accessories.
