Gun rights supporters won a major legal victory last week when a California judge struck down as unconstitutional a law that they say would have effectively banned online sales of handgun ammunition just days before it was to have taken effect.

Given the sheer size of the California market, the law would have had a major impact on national online ammunition sales, and some online ammo sites had already suspended sales to California.....Read on...

I ******* hate California...and i was born and raised there.

In October, one of my cousins came up here for a visit. He does IPSC shooting down there, and was absolutely blown away that my CCW allowed me to carry any handgun i wanted at any time. Down there, a seperate permit must be obtained for each gun you intend to carry,,and in the application you must provide a valid reason why you need to carry that weapon, as i understand. So, while my cousin owns a half-dozen handguns, there are only two that he holds permits for. When i told him that, to the best of my knowledge, i could carry my .45 and .22 at the same time, he was flabergasted.

He also practically drooled over the video i showed him of me shooting my G3 (Well, PTR-91 actually. G3's just easier to say).

I kinda like where it says felons are buying ammo. what the f does that matter. if they enforced current laws the felon would have nothing to use the ammo in. stupid just stupid.

Not only that, but they don't run your license to buy ammo at WalMart or anywhere local. What does it matter if it's delivered to your door?

Hmm... since criminals don't seem to have much trouble illegally obtaining guns, wouldn't logic say they wouldn't have too much trouble illegally obtaining ammo for said guns too?

But then again, nobody every accused the anti-gun crowd of employing logic.

Im glad that California got something right for once. I too was born in Cali, and it just isnt the place it used to be. The felons buying ammo online isnt a cause for alarm if ppl could keep them from buying guns on the street. At least this isnt goin to spread to other states now.
