hey guy's I asked this on PNR but I figured this is more of a Question for the guns section, I'm hiking up there with a friend tomorrow, was curious if that is an area you're able to carry a firearm or if it's off limits to firearms, not that I would be shooting strictly self defense, I have a feeling it's fine but I just wanted to make sure, better safe than sorry.

I have always carried up there. I don't remember anywhere saying you can't... The last time I was there was last year when that little girl got killed by a huge chunk of falling ice.

Forest Service Rules apply. Can't carry in the Verlot Ranger Station but everywhere else, your golden.

Ok let me clarify just to make sure i'm understanding this right. I can carry on the trail, I just cannot enter the Ranger Station itself with a firearm?

Taxpayers should get free passes send out with their tax forms. Let the "Visitors" or non tax payers pay for their permits to use these facilities. No Government isn't "Evil", just "Greedy" and "Stupid". | |
