Rossi single shot hvy brl 17hmr?

Was looking at a heavy barreled stainless Rossi single shot in 17hmr. Price is pretty good on these, anyone know how they shoot from experience? I've read about every different type or review online so I wanted to see of anyone local has given one a try.

Thanks.

I've never shot the Rossi, but I have a savage.

If your asking about he round in general and not that specific rifle..

It shoots great.
It feels like a stout load when your shooting under a hundred yards.

sub .22 size with a .243/22.250 punch.

I've shot a ways beyond, but wind really starts to play a factor at 150+yrds.
Not saying greydiggers @ 300yrds is unrealistic.. cause it's not

but I've also had a heck of a time just over 150 with a lot of land features and some strange wind. You can see the bullet get pushed around through the scope on a sunny day with some wind..
