I've found a few good websites that have free practice targets for printing. Nearly all print out on a standard 8 1/2 by 11 page. A few print out on multiple sheets and are generally noted as such. Enjoy!

I am now a firm believer in the "shoot & see" type of targets. I'll use one normal construction paper type target and just keep putting new shoot & see targets on over the bullseye as needed. Being able to quicly and easily see wher your shots are hitting is quite helpful. And shoot & see targets are almost required when shooting my .22 pistol, as even at 7 yards it can be difficult to see the little .22 holes in the targets.

Ill go the other way, I can see my bullet holes at 100yards through my scope on my .223 bolt gun, and at 25yards with my .22 pistol I can see easily with a set of binocs, 9mm and.45acp no problem either obviously at 25yds.. The shoot and see targets are neat though, never bought any. At 220 yards I couldnt see my holes from the .223, but I dont care either, I was shooting a group then walking down range to get the target. :)

Wouldn't a spotting scople look a silly at a 25 yard indoor range?

I challenge you to go to Champion's (or pretty much any indoor) range and put a target a 25 yards and tell me if you can see holes in the paper.

I can with my .40

I don't believe you. :nana: 9mm and .40 holes aren't much different. Even big .45 holes are pretty much impossible to see. The lighting sucks there, I'm not the only one that thinks so.I can see clear to the back at Wade's, for example.

Sounds like you're taking me up on the challenge? Let's say $100 for every hole you can't positively identify at 25 yards? That should shut you up. :thefinger:

so do I get $100 for every one I do see? cause I got lots of clips..

You guys are funny.... if y'all haven't been to Champions, you just don't know. It's friggin DARK in there. And all their cheap targets are manilla colored, for even less visibility/contrast. I can see the back (25 yds) of Wade's range better than I can see 10 yds are Champions, it's that bad.
