What Buffer size should use for AR-15?
 
Similar to the gas system, the Buffers of AR-15 are known to play an important role. It controls the recoil and also assists the bolt Carrier group. Get a light buffer, and you’re going to suffer from the extra recoil. You can acquire a lot of buffer weights to check whether if it is working well or not. I was wondering how to build AR-15 gun? The buffer and tube depends on which stock you use.
A A2 stock has a longer tube and heavier buffer than the M4 style carbine stocks.

You also have to figure which gas tube length you have. The shorter the barrel the heavier the buffer will be depending on caliber also.
