Looking at the new FBI crime stats being published this week, I am curious if the homicides committed by 'handguns' includes items such as AR pistols. Obviously looking at the numbers, 'rifles' in the count of homicides committed with them is lower than knives, making the argument about magazine capacities and, wait for it, "assault weapons" moot.
I could not find the brekaout to see if AR pistols are included in the handguns categorization.
